Cold Lake Lodge is accepting applications for a Casual Cook's. Cold Lake Lodge offers independent living to seniors and provides meals, housekeeping, laundry and recreation services to their residents.

This position provides coverage on a casual basis for: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm shift and 11:00 am - 7:30 pm shift

Salary Schedule: Starting at $20.42 - 23.60* (*after 1 year)

Responsibilities

- Food preparation/ production/ planning and support staff with method of preparation
- Cleaning duties/ adherence to cleaning schedule
- Ensure proper use of equipment and report any maintenance requests
- Communication with fellow staff members and Head Cook
- Adhere to all Lakeland Lodge and Housing Foundation Policies
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:




- Degree and/or Proven ability in the food service area
- Ability to provide a clear vulnerable sector check
- Exemplary attitude and skills providing a clean environment
- Cooking Skills
- Kind, positive, pleasant, mature attitude
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Supervisory abilities with residents, guests and staff
- Ability to work with Seniors
- Food Handlers Course
- First Aid
- Previous experience an asset

Pay: From $20.42 per hour
