The Customer Service

Representative must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a genuine enjoyment of working with B2B clients, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid command of various units of measurement (imperial and metric) and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing accurate technical guidance to clients in the industrial sector.

Responsibilities

- • Identify and assess the needs of industrial clients;
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers;
- Advise clients and coordinate with outside sales to ensure the best service;
- Interpret and convert technical specifications across different units of measurement (inches, millimetres, feet, fractions, decimals, etc.);
- Prepare quotes in accordance with company guidelines;
- Process customer orders;
- Purchase resale products;




- Coordinate with the production team;
- Follow up on customer orders;
- Follow up on supplier orders;
- Enter data into various software systems;
- Actively participate in inventory management;
- Arrange certain freight shipments;
- All other related duties.

Qualification

- • High school diploma or equivalent;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, preferably in an industrial or B2B environment;
- Proficiency with imperial and metric units of measurement (inches, millimetres, fractions, decimals);
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Bilingual – fluent in both French and English (oral and written);
- Strong mathematical and technical calculation skills;
- Knowledge of industrial products (conveyor belts an asset);
- Understanding of conveyor systems and their components (an asset);
- Team player with robust interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite;
