About the role

We are looking for an organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Service Coordinator to support our plumbing and HVAC service team. You will be a first point of contact for customers, manage incoming service requests, schedule technicians, and keep customers and field staff informed.

Responsibilities

- Answer incoming calls, gather customer and service information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Communicate with customers by phone and email to schedule service appointments and return visits.
- Coordinate technician schedules and assist with dispatching to support timely, efficient service.
- Monitor a shared email inbox, respond to inquiries, and forward messages to the appropriate department.
- Create service calls and maintain accurate customer records, account information, and appointment details.
- Coordinate domestic water and heating system shutdowns with customers and field staff.
- Keep customers informed about service call status and scheduling changes.
- Communicate with technicians and internal teams to keep service requests moving smoothly.




- Assist with additional customer service, service coordination, and administrative duties as required.

Required skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
- A qualified, helpful approach when working with customers and team members.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in customer service, service coordination, dispatching, or appointment scheduling.
- One year of customer service experience in the plumbing or HVAC industry.
- Experience using Simpro.
- Secondary school diploma.

Previous customer service or industry experience is an asset but is not required.
