Responsibilities
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and follow-up communications with enthusiasm and precision
- Oversee patient records using dental practice management software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate smooth daily operations and patient flow
- Handle billing, insurance claims, and payment processing efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on office procedures and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Maintain electronic medical records with attention to detail, adhering to privacy regulations and organizational standards
- Help in keeping a clean and tidy workspace and surroundings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office setting with familiarity using Power practice or comparable software systems
- Robust knowledge of Dental/medical terminology and electronic medical records management
- Prior experience demonstrating leadership skills in an administrative or healthcare environment
- Experience with billing processes, and insurance claim procedures within healthcare settings
- Knowledge of hospital or acute care environments is a plus, along with healthcare-related experience
- Excellent communication skills combined with an energetic attitude that motivates team members and enhances patient interactions
