Seeking an experienced Dental office sterilization technician for our busy office. This is a full time role The sterilization technician is responsible for productive operation of the sterilization centre and ensuring instruments and equipment is available when required by clinicians.
Your Role:
- Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation
- Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols
- Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
About You:
- Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is required
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program minimum level 1 is preferred
- Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is required
