Role Description

We are hiring a Digital Asset Portfolio Strategist to support portfolio research, asset allocation, and risk analysis. This remote, Canada-based role focuses on Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, and emerging blockchain ecosystems.

You will develop research-backed portfolio recommendations and translate market and on-chain data into clear insights for strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Develop portfolio allocation frameworks aligned with defined objectives and risk limits.

Analyze liquidity, volatility, correlations, concentration, and potential drawdowns.

Evaluate digital assets and protocols using fundamentals, tokenomics, adoption, and governance.

Prepare portfolio reviews, market reports, and allocation recommendations.

Monitor token unlocks, protocol developments,



and changes in market conditions.

Support treasury planning, rebalancing proposals, and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

Experience in portfolio strategy, investment research, asset management, fintech, or digital assets.

Robust understanding of diversification, portfolio construction, and risk management.

Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, and blockchain infrastructure.

Strong financial modeling, research, and communication skills.

Ability to explain assumptions, assess uncertainty, and document recommendations.

Based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Background

Experience with an asset manager, investment research team, consultancy, or Web3 company.

Familiarity with DefiLlama, Dune, Token Terminal, Glassnode, Excel, Python, or SQL.

Understanding of treasury strategy, token valuation, and on-chain analytics.

Compensation

CAD $90,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience and responsibilities.
