Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep

We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep team member. The main responsibility is dishwashing, with additional vegetable prep, cleaning, restocking, and general kitchen support.

Pay & Schedule

- Starting at $17.60/hour + additional tips
- Part time and full-time available
- Typical shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM / 12:00 AM
- Part-time: minimum 2 full shifts per week, approximately 20–24 hours
- Full-time: approximately 3–4 full shifts per week, depending on availability and business needs

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize bowls, dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and equipment
- Make sure everything is thoroughly clean and free of grease and food residue
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area throughout the shift
- Sweep, mop, take out garbage, and complete daily cleaning duties
- Clean sinks, floors, drains, garbage areas, and surrounding work areas
- Prep vegetables and ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning
- Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes and packaging
- Receive and put away supplies when inventory arrives
- Restock and organize dishwashing and kitchen supplies
- Follow proper food-safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
- Support the kitchen with other BOH duties as needed





Requirements

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Able to stand and stay physically active throughout the shift
- Able to lift and carry boxes, garbage, supplies, and restaurant equipment
- Comfortable safely handling commercial cleaning products
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with a good attitude
- Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience is preferred but not required
- Food Handler/Food Safety Certification required after hiring. If you do not currently have one, you must obtain the required certification promptly after starting employment.

Opportunity to Cross-Train Full-time employees who perform well and are interested in learning more may have opportunities to cross-train as an Expo / Expeditor, including assembling and finishing noodle dishes with the correct ingredients and toppings before service.

Cross-training and advancement depend on performance and business needs.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
