In this role, you will design and maintain essential in-house software at Tayco. Your work includes developing responsive interfaces, refining existing JavaScript code, and ensuring effective communication with shop floor operators. You'll also build and consume REST APIs and handle various software testing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain applications for plant operations • Implement JavaScript features for scanner input and data updates • Develop backend REST APIs integrating with frontend solutions • Document processes and train operators on new features • Ensure frontend usability and accessibility through interface design
Requirements: • Degree in computer science or related field, or 2-5 years experience • Solid vanilla ES6 JavaScript skills • Familiarity with Django and REST API principles • Capability to communicate requirements with non-technical users • Willingness to conduct training sessions and improve documentation
