We’re looking for Drywall Installers who wants to join our Drywall Company and help us build amazing projects for our Calgary and Area clients. We need candidates who have the skill and experience to lead a build team from start to completion, often managing multiple build sites at any one time.
Qualifications & Skills:
- No degree, certificate or diploma
- Candidates must have 1 – 2 years of experience in the Drywall Installment
- Must have knowledge of Drywall, Insulation, Taping and Steel Framing
- Be self-motivated and a good communicator
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife,
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Salary: $20-$25 per hour or Sq. Feet price
Terms of Employment:
- Start date is negotiable for the right candidate
- 3 – months trial probation followed by a performance review
- Company will provide company vehicle
- Competitive compensation, based on experience
- 8 – 10 hours shift
- Monday to Friday
