Our drivers are the face of our company at customer sites, and we’re looking for reliable and detail-oriented team members to join our daytime operations.

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a DZ Driver to perform local pick-up and delivery (P&D;) within Owen Sound and surrounding areas. This role requires attention to detail, time-sensitive deliveries, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

- Complete daily P&D; runs in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) using ELD/Samsara system
- Secure and handle freight safely, including LTL shipments
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, updates, or issues
- Ensure paperwork accuracy (BOLs, manifests, DG where applicable)
- Adhere to all company safety policies and federal regulations
- Represent the company positively with customers at all delivery/pick-up points

Skills

- Valid DZ licence with clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 3 year commercial driving experience
- Robust knowledge of Ontario roadways and local area




- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with freight as required
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Experience with ELDs and load securement an asset
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

- Daytime shift ( 7:30 AM start, Monday–Friday)
- Full-time permanent position
- Competitive hourly wage.
