Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a casual basis. In this vital role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by creating engaging, secure, and nurturing learning environments. Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development
- Support children’s social interactions, emotional regulation, and behavioral growth
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Use computer skills to update records, document child progress, and communicate with families




- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an asset
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
- Ability to operate computers and relevant software for record keeping and communication purposes
- Proven time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s learning experiences confidently
- Experience working with Out of School Care aged children preferred
- ability to travel to our program in Leduc AND Beaumont would be ideal
