Join the Mothercraft family as an Early Childhood Assistant contributing to nurturing environments in our caring centers across York Heights, North York. In this full-time role, you'll engage with children and help foster their development.

Serving as a Level 2 Early Childhood Assistant, you’ll support children’s growth by addressing their physical and emotional needs while collaborating with a team of educators. Your involvement in program planning and creating enriching experiences will be essential to our mission of promoting healthy child development. The role requires split shift availability.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide for children's emotional and physical care • Establish nurturing relationships with children • Assist in culturally sensitive program planning • Communicate with families and colleagues • Ensure children are in a protected environment

Requirements: • Minimum one year working with children and families • Early Childhood Assistant certificate preferred • Vulnerable Sector Check must be satisfactory • Current Standard First Aid & CPR C required • Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds
