We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators / ECEA (Early Childhood Education Assistants) to join our vibrant team at Mighty Cubs Childcare at Royston, Bc, Canada in full-time and on-call positions.

Responsibilities

- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement educational programs aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support individual needs and developmental progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, daily activities, and incident reports.
- Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean learning environment.




- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary.

Qualifications

- Valid certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA), or equivalent qualification recognized by local licensing authorities.
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an asset.
- Solid communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in computer skills including basic operation of educational software and record keeping tools.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage time effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
