We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and flexible On-Call Supply Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our team at our Dartmouth location. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children of various age groups and are available to provide coverage when needed. Please note: At this time, we are only hiring On-Call Supply ECEs at our Dartmouth location. Hours are not guaranteed and will be scheduled based on operational needs and staff absences.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in accordance with Kids & Company's standards and curriculum
- Support the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum that fosters children's growth and development
- Maintain daily documentation, reporting, and attendance records as required
- Support children's emotional, cognitive, physical, and social development
- Collaborate with classroom teams and external professionals, such as Speech or Occupational Therapists, when required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety,



and licensing regulations, including maintaining required staff-to-child ratios
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and center needs
- Participate positively in team meetings, career development opportunities, and classroom transitions

Qualifications

- Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Up-to-date immunizations, including a 2-step TB test
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (Level B or C)
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
- Flexibility to accept shifts on short notice and work varying schedules as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
