We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and flexible On-Call Supply Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join our team at our Dartmouth location. Please note: At this time, we are only hiring On-Call Supply ECEs at our Dartmouth location. Hours are not guaranteed and will be scheduled based on operational needs and staff absences.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in accordance with Kids & Company's standards and curriculum
- Support the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum that fosters children's growth and development
- Maintain daily documentation, reporting, and attendance records as required
- Support children's emotional, cognitive, physical, and social development
- Collaborate with classroom teams and external professionals, such as Speech or Occupational Therapists, when required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety,



and licensing regulations, including maintaining required staff-to-child ratios
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and center needs
- Participate positively in team meetings, career development opportunities, and classroom transitions

Qualifications

- Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Up-to-date immunizations, including a 2-step TB test
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (Level B or C)
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
- Flexibility to accept shifts on short notice and work varying schedules as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
