Meri’s Kids Childcare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC.

We are currently looking for:

- French-Speaking ECE – 1 day per week
- Spanish-Speaking ECE – 1 day per week

The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through play-based activities, positive interactions, and a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Support developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support daily routines, transitions, indoor and outdoor activities
- Communicate respectfully with children, families, and team members
- Observe and respond to children’s individual interests and needs
- Work collaboratively with educators and support the daily program




- Follow all health, safety, and childcare policies

Qualifications
- Valid BC ECE Certificate required
- Fluent in French or Spanish, depending on the position
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Current First Aid certification
- Criminal Record Check
- Caring, reliable, patient, and enthusiastic
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
