As we continue to grow with a renewed focus on our core brands, we are seeking a skilled Red Seal Industrial Electrician to join our team.
Position Overview The Industrial Electrician ensures peak operational efficiency across our production equipment and facilities. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, complex troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex electrical, electronic, and automated systems on production lines and facility infrastructure.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned PM schedules on electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maximize equipment longevity.
- Line Support: Assist production teams with equipment changeovers, setup, and performance optimizations.
- Tool & Equipment Care: Maintain personal tool kit and ensure all company test equipment is protected and calibrated.
- Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to Occupational Health & Safety regulations, SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards, and company operating policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Perform additional technical duties as assigned to support plant operational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent; active Industrial Mechanic / Industrial Electrician Red Seal trade certification or valid New Brunswick Journeyperson license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing electrical experience (food processing environment preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
- Attributes: High reliability, strong commitment to long-term work, excellent communication skills, and an eagerness to learn.
