Responsibilities
- Perform root canal treatments, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of endodontic procedures.
- Utilize advanced dental technology such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems to enhance treatment accuracy.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain detailed patient records using dental practice management software such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in endodontics and incorporate best practices into daily work.
Skills
- Proven experience in performing complex root canal therapies with precision and confidence.
- Proficiency with dental software platforms including cleardent for record keeping and scheduling.
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient communication.
- Experience working in a busy dental office environment, managing multiple cases efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics when necessary.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, pathology, and treatment options specific to endodontics.
