- Is passionate about helping students learn and grow at our learning center.
- Is highly responsible and committed to supporting students’ academic progress.
- Is very familiar with the Ontario high school English curriculum and is also willing to teach younger students English.
- Graduates from a Canadian university are preferred.
- Has a degree in English or a related field .
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials that meet educational standards
- Engage with students’ families to communicate progress and address individual learning needs
Experience
- Proven classroom experience teaching English or related language courses
- Experience working with children or young learners in an educational setting
- Proficiency in Mandarin, French, Spanish, Japanese or other languages is a plus but not required
- Strong writing skills with the ability to develop clear lesson plans and instructional materials
- Prior tutoring or one-on-one teaching experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques
- Passion for language education and cultural exchange, with excellent communication skills
