We are seeking a passionate and energetic English and Math Tutor to inspire students and help them achieve their academic goals. In this role, you will deliver engaging tutoring sessions tailored to individual learning needs, foster a positive learning environment, and support students in developing their language and mathematical skills. Fluency in French would be a great asset.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized tutoring plans for students in English and Math, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Deliver interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles, encouraging active participation.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence, curiosity, and motivation.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians when appropriate.
- Utilize your experience working with children to create fun,
effective learning experiences that build foundational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Math, preferably within classroom settings or one-on-one sessions.
- Solid writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds.
- French language would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Passion for education and helping students succeed through innovative teaching methods.
- Classroom experience or previous tutoring roles that demonstrate your ability to motivate learners.
