HLC Consulting Ltd. is currently recruiting for a full-time Environmental Technologist to join the Team at their Winnipeg, Manitoba office. This is a permanent position and will provide the selected individual with opportunities to work on a variety of different jobs sites in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta with various clients.
The technical portion of the job involves completing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), groundwater monitoring and sampling programs. Good writing skills will be required to put your findings and recommendations into reports that will be delivered to clients.
This position will require a vehicle, valid driver’s license (along with associated insurance) as travel will be required. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred.
Training will be provided to ensure that you understand your role and assist in meeting our Clients’ needs.
Candidates with the following education, knowledge and work ethic are preferred:
- University/college education
- Previous environmental consulting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- High attention to detail; the ability to write, review, and edit reports and other written communications
- Qualified verbal communication skills
