Activa is looking for a dependable and hardworking Excavation Labourer to join our team.

This role involves supporting storm, sewer, and water installation projects while working safely outdoors alongside operators and crew members. We offer year-round employment, local work throughout Waterloo Region, and a workplace where safety is the top priority every day

Responsibilities:

- Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and underground service installations.
- Perform physical labour including shoveling, raking, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and compaction equipment.
- Keep job sites, tools, and vehicles clean and organized.
- Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

- Valid G-Class driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous construction or excavation experience is an asset, but not required.
