Job Details The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Recreation and Parks department as a Exercise and Wellness Specialist. Reporting to the Floor Services Coordinator, this position will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and program/fitness service delivery to guests of the Fitness and Wellness Centre.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and three years of experience is a minimum.
- A degree or diploma in Physical Education, Kinesiology or a related field is preferred.
- Direct experience in customer service or fitness facility setting is an asset.
- CSEP-CPT, NSCA-CSCS or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- AFLCA or equivalent group exercise certification would be an asset.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification is required, prior to hire.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with a membership management database is an asset.
