Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage food preparation tasks including assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld through proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels, restocking supplies, and organizing workspace efficiently
- Handle cashier responsibilities including basic math calculations for transactions and giving correct change
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
- Prior food service experience in a rapid-paced environment within the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
