As an integral part of our team, you will manage inspections and repairs on fire and life safety equipment, ensuring adherence to the BC Fire Code and supporting the growth of Junior Technicians. Your role will require participation in after-hours emergency calls, and commitment to ongoing training and up-to-date practices in fire protection services.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute comprehensive fire and life safety inspections • Perform detailed repairs and troubleshooting tasks • Complete required documentation for inspections promptly • Mentor and guide Junior Technicians • Engage in emergency on-call rotation as needed
Requirements: • Must be ASTTBC RFPT or CFAA certified • Clean Driver’s Abstract and valid BC license • Strong mechanical and electrical expertise • Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication along with a positive attitude
