The Sandbar Restaurant is looking for an experienced server/bartender who can deliver outstanding service, create great drinks and help lead our front-of-house team.

This is not an entry-level or part time position. We’re looking for someone dependable, confident and experienced—someone who can take ownership of a shift, support the team and help create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

You’ll be trained on both opening and closing the restaurant, giving you a complete understanding of our daily operation and the opportunity to take on real leadership responsibility.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous serving and bartending experience is required
- Full-time availability for both day and evening shifts
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confidence working in a busy restaurant environment
- Excellent guest-service skills
- Creativity and an interest in developing drink specials
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with inventory and cash handling
- The ability to remain organized and professional under pressure
- A dependable person who takes ownership and follows through
- A valid responsible beverage-service certification, as required

What You’ll Be Doing

- Serving guests and bartending during both day and evening shifts
- Helping maintain a positive, organized and accountable workplace
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Creating exciting and profitable drink specials
- Maintaining accurate liquor, beer, wine and bar-supply inventory
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Ensuring drinks are prepared consistently and correctly
- Training and supporting other front-of-house employees
- Handling payments and balancing cash accurately




- Resolving guest concerns professionally
- Maintaining a clean, organized and properly stocked bar
- Following responsible alcohol-service and food-safety standards
- Communicating effectively with management and the kitchen team

Availability Requirements

This is a full-time position. Applicants must be available for a combination of day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. Open availability is essential, and this position cannot be scheduled around another job, school or other ongoing work commitments.
