In this role, you will provide support to the warehousing operations at Grocery Outlet by safely delivering products and adhering to all operational standards. As you report to the Assistant Transportation Manager, your driving skills will contribute significantly to our mission of outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report deficiencies • Navigate service routes using provided daily information • Maintain communication with dispatch for coordination • Observe all established safety rules during operations • Assist with other unit functions as assigned
Requirements: • Minimum 6 months OTR or 1-year local driving experience required • Valid Class A-CDL Driver’s License needed • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations • Ability to read and interpret written instructions • Positive and flexible attitude when working collaboratively
