Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Window & Door Measurement and Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, customizing, and installing a wide variety of windows and doors, ensuring optimal fit, function, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service and quality craftsmanship to our valued customers.

Duties

- Accurately measure window and door openings on-site using hand tools, schematics, and blueprint reading to ensure precise fitment.
- Prepare installation sites by removing old fixtures, repairing drywall or framing as needed, and ensuring surfaces are ready for recent units.
- Install windows and doors following manufacturer specifications, schematics, and safety protocols with attention to detail.
- Use caulking, sealing techniques, and construction painting to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality.
- Operate various hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and wrenches efficiently to complete installations.
- Conduct restoration work including drywall repair, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing adjustments, or welding when necessary to accommodate new fixtures.




- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation or measurement phases and adapt plans accordingly.

Experience

- Proven experience in window and door measurement and installation within a construction or renovation setting.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices including carpentry, drywall finishing, caulking techniques, and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with using hand tools safely and effectively during measurement and installation processes.
- Experience working with blueprints or schematics for custom-fit projects.
- Background in related trades such as restoration work, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation or tile laying is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial renovation projects is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning new skills is valued!
