Duties
- Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Plate dishes according to presentation standards, maintaining quality and consistency
- Communicate clearly with kitchen team about order priorities and special requests
- Monitor food temperatures and presentation to uphold safety and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Support guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay orders and guest needs
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
- Kitchen or hospitality background including serving, food prep, or cashiering is advantageous
- Reliable team player with excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
