Fabricator / Maker (3D Printing, LEDs, Welding, Prototyping)

Marvel Signs & Display is looking for a hands-on Fabricator / Maker—someone who loves building things, figuring stuff out, and turning ideas into real-world products. This role is perfect for a self-driven builder who’s comfortable learning new skills through YouTube, forums, and experimentation.

This is not a narrow, repetitive role. You’ll work across signage, displays, prototypes, and custom builds—from computer to finished product.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Fabricating custom parts and assemblies using a mix of materials
- 3D printing at scale (setup, troubleshooting, post-processing)
- Working with LEDs & low-voltage systems (wiring, soldering, testing)
- Welding and metal fabrication (aluminum & steel)
- Assisting with installs and on-site problem solving when needed
- Reading basic drawings and translating ideas into physical builds
- Prototyping, iterating, and improving designs as you go
- Learning new tools, materials, and processes independently

Skills & Experience (Not All Required)
- 3D printing (FDM experience preferred)
- LEDs, soldering, low-voltage wiring
- Welding (MIG aluminum a strong asset; steel welcomed)
- General shop skills: cutting, drilling, assembling,

- Comfort with learning from YouTube, forums, manuals, and trial & error
- Experience as a maker, builder, gamer PC builder, hobbyist, or fabricator
