As a full time Field Engineer, you'll directly support project management operations in Eastern Canada, ensuring excellence in handling contracts and engineering deliverables. You'll oversee safety practices and quality control on-site while liaising with various stakeholders for optimal project execution. Your contribution will significantly impact construction efforts across diverse projects, from highways to hydroelectric plants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret drawings for field crews and craft supervision • Supervise field operations and manage project schedules • Assist in Job Hazard Analyses and safety training • Perform material takeoffs for accuracy in project estimates • Compile and confirm daily labor timesheets
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field • 3+ years' construction experience • Licensed P.Eng. or Engineer-in-Training • Strong analytical skills for contract documents • Ability to travel as needed
