Richmond Hyundai is looking for a motivated, organized and customer-focused Finance Office Assistant to join our growing team.

This is not intended to be a long-term administrative position.

This is a training and development role designed to prepare the right candidate to become a Junior Finance Manager.

You will work directly alongside our Finance Department, learning how automotive financing, leasing, lender approvals, protection products, documentation and vehicle deliveries work inside a high-volume dealership.

For someone who is ambitious, professional and eager to build a career in automotive finance, this is an opportunity to learn the business from the inside and develop toward a significantly larger role.

What You’ll Do

You will support the Finance Department while gradually being trained in the responsibilities of a Finance Manager, including:

- Preparing finance and lease documentation
- Organizing customer files and ensuring documentation is complete
- Assisting Finance Managers with lender and funding requirements
- Communicating with customers regarding required documents and delivery preparation
- Following up on outstanding paperwork, signatures and approvals
- Preparing finance files for vehicle deliveries
- Assisting with warranty, protection product and aftermarket documentation
- Working with our Sales, Accounting and Management teams to ensure deals move smoothly from sale to delivery
- Learning dealership systems, lender portals and finance processes
- Helping maintain a professional, organized and efficient Finance Office
- Providing an excellent customer experience before, during and after delivery
- Gradually learning customer interviews, credit applications, lender submissions and financial product presentations




- Taking on additional Finance Manager responsibilities as your training progresses

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need to already be an experienced Automotive Finance Manager.

We are more interested in finding someone with the right ability and attitude.

Previous experience in banking, lending, automotive sales, customer service,



luxury retail, hospitality, administration or another customer-facing environment would be an asset, but is not required. The ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is considered a strong asset due to the diverse customer base we serve.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $4,000 per month / $48,000 annually

Future compensation will change as the successful candidate progresses into a Junior Finance Manager position.

Schedule

This is a full-time dealership position and candidates should be comfortable working a schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
