Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations
- Assist guests with questions about menu options, dietary restrictions, or special requests to ensure a positive experience




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality

Experience

- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms enhances efficiency but training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately are essential
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
