Founding Operations Manager
Fleet Maintenance & Commercial Services Division
Kamloops, BC
Have you ever wanted the opportunity to build a commercial fleet service operation your way?
We're launching a new fleet maintenance and commercial vehicle service division in Kamloops and are seeking an experienced leader to join us at the ground floor. This is a rare prospect to help design, build, and grow a business from its earliest stages while being supported by an established and financially stable company.
The successful candidate will work directly with ownership during the planning and development phase, helping shape the systems, staffing, service offerings, operating procedures, and culture that will define the division for years to come.
Location The division will be based in the Dallas/Campbell Creek area of Kamloops, BC, approximately 15 minutes east of the city centre.
We are seeking candidates who currently reside in Kamloops or within a reasonable commuting distance, or who are planning to relocate to the area. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a regular on-site presence during and after the launch, and growth phases of the operation, however the opportunity to remotely work-from-home in the initial planning stages is acceptable, more details to follow.
Our company operates from a 27,000-square-foot facility in Kamloops and is reclaiming approximately 17,000 square feet of additional warehouse space in April 2027. Several thousand square feet have been earmarked for the initial launch of this division, with substantial expansion capacity available as customer demand and growth opportunities warrant.
About the Opportunity
Our vision is to create a dedicated fleet-focused maintenance and service operation unlike anything currently available in the region. The business will initially support our own fleet while actively pursuing commercial fleet customers throughout Kamloops and the surrounding area.
Services will include a combination of:
- Fleet maintenance programs
- Light-duty commercial vehicle repair
- Preventive maintenance services
- Mobile fleet service
- Vehicle pickup and delivery
- Fleet management support
We are preparing for a phased launch, including mobile service operations ahead of the full facility opening.
Planned Launch Timeline
We are currently in the planning and development phase, with a targeted full facility launch in April 2027.
Mobile fleet service operations are expected to begin as early as Fall 2026, allowing us to establish customer relationships and generate operational momentum ahead of the full launch.
Several thousand square feet of dedicated warehouse space is being allocated for the division, with the ability to expand as the business grows.
