As the business grows we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing excellent support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position requires strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

The current available position is part time and eventually full time depending on job performance.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.




- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.

Experience

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with HEALTHQUEST EMR is a requirement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
