Wage

$18.50-$19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Stoney Creek Furniture is currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse & Showroom Floor Assistant to join our Showroom Floor Team in our Stoney Creek location.

This is a Tuesday to Saturday daytime position, with availability required until 4:30 p.m.

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to cross-train as a Delivery Driver or Driver Helper to provide vacation and sick-time coverage, with a premium wage provided when performing those duties.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is comfortable using computers, and is highly organized. This role requires someone who is physically fit and capable of moving and lifting heavy items (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).

A valid G driver's license is required for occasional product transfers between our showroom and main warehouse using a company vehicle. Scissor lift experience is considered an asset, and training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Pull, assemble, prepare, and place new and replenishment products on the showroom floor as directed.
- Remove sold products from the showroom floor and relocate them to the appropriate warehouse area.
- Complete product transfers between the showroom and main warehouse using a company vehicle (G license required).
- Use the in-house computer system to create transfers, maintain inventory accuracy,



and record product movement between the warehouse, showroom floor, and repair shop.
- Assist with showroom layout changes, including moving displays and vignettes, updating signage, and supporting painting, wallpapering, lighting installations, banner installation, and general showroom maintenance.
- Support the customer pick-up process by pulling and assembling products, performing minor touch-ups, and assisting customers with loading items while ensuring Stoney Creek Furniture's quality standards are met.
- Receive incoming products at the showroom location, review documentation, and verify shipment accuracy.
- Provide customer service support as needed to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse area within the showroom location.
