General Labourer (Summer Position) – Construction & Installation Projects
Pay: $20-35/hour
Location: London, Ontario (with travel throughout Southwestern Ontario)
Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time, Seasonal (Summer)
Start Time: ASAP
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to assist with a variety of modular wall installation projects throughout Southwestern Ontario during the summer season.
Work availability will vary depending on project schedules, with opportunities ranging from part-time to full-time hours. Successful candidates will perform physical labour tasks, assist with material handling, and support project teams on active job sites.
For projects located outside the immediate area, accommodations may be required. Any necessary hotel stays will be arranged and paid for by the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction and installation activities on job sites
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials
- Perform general labour duties as directed by site supervisors
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Use basic hand tools and equipment when required
- Follow all site safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 45 lbs
- Must possess CSA-approved steel-toe work boots
- Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location in London, Ontario
- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using basic hand tools such as:
- Tape measures
- Drills and impact drivers
- Levels
- Basic construction tools
- Previous construction, labour, or installation experience is considered an asset but is not required
- Working at Heights Certified (Preferred but not required)
Travel Requirements
- Projects are located throughout Southwestern Ontario
- Employees will meet at a designated location in London, Ontario daily or at the beginning of the work week
- Transportation to job sites will be provided from the meeting location
- Some projects may require overnight stays for the work week; hotel accommodations will be provided at no cost
