General Manager | Evolve Strength Park Royal

At Evolve Strength, our General Managers are responsible for much more than keeping the doors open and the day running smoothly. They own the success of their location.

As General Manager, you’ll lead the people, operations, member experience, sales, and overall performance of your facility. You’ll be given the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems, develop your team, and continually improve the product we deliver to our members.

We’re looking for a strong leader who takes ownership, holds high standards, and understands that a great facility is built through consistent execution. You’ll work closely with Evolve’s corporate team while leading your location at the ground level.

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of the overall performance and day-to-day operations of your location.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Build a strong team culture with clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness, facility presentation, equipment, and member experience.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and confidently resolve member concerns.
- Work closely with Evolve’s corporate team to maintain brand and operational standards.
- Monitor location performance and use data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Drive membership growth, retention, and other key performance indicators.
- Develop local initiatives, events, partnerships, and marketing opportunities that grow awareness and membership.
- Support and build solid relationships with personal trainers, healthcare practitioners, and other professionals operating within the facility.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the overall member experience.
- Lead by example and represent the Evolve Strength brand and its standards every day.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

- 3+ years of management experience, ideally in fitness, hospitality, retail, recreation,



or another customer-focused environment.
- Previous experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing employees.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable while building an engaged team.
- Experience in customer service and sales.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze performance, identify trends, and turn information into action.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervision.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and a desire to find better ways of doing things.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellness.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

An Asset Experience or familiarity with personal training and allied health services such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, and athletic therapy.
