Pay: $25-$35/hourly on average total ($18.25/hour base wage plus an equitable share of tips, split between front of house and kitchen team by hours worked, not just the dining room)

The Role

As a Hand Roll & Sushi Crew Member, you work across our full roll program, not one station. On a given shift you might be prepping and rolling hand rolls at the counter, cutting fish and building maki and nigiri on the sushi line, or moving between both as service requires. No experience needed. We'll train you on rice, knife technique, and every station from day one, and you leave with a wider set of skills than most kitchens will teach you.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and portion fish, rice,



and ingredients to Hello Nori Quality Assurance standards
- Roll and plate hand rolls, maki, and nigiri across service
- Apply proper knife technique, rice seasoning, and ingredient handling
- Rotate between the hand roll counter and sushi line as service requires
- Maintain cleanliness, stock, and food safety standards on your station

What You'll Need

- No experience required. Paid training from day one
- Kitchen or sushi line experience is an asset, not a requirement
- Comfort working across multiple stations in a quick-paced kitchen
- Availability to work during hours of operation, including evenings and weekends
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
