Industry leading construction cleaning company with 30+ years is seeking dedicated and experienced Full time Cleaning personnel to join our team to work in our Construction Cleaning Division. Motivation to work and reliability is a must! Spanish an asset

Job:

- Full-time, daytime and Afternoon shifts available
- Weekends when required.
- Hours and job locations change in a regular basis depending on workload and site requirements

Duties:

- Construction/final cleaning of commercial and residential construction sites.
- Tasks include but are not limited to the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reach by ladder or scaffolding, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing floors, washing windows, wiping kitchen cabinets and vanities, cleaning walls, pipes, stairwells, elevator cabs, light fixtures, and garbage removal. Transport material and equipment where necessary between work areas, floors and job site.
- Complete final cleans of office areas, warehouses, washrooms, parking garages, lobbies, mechanical and electrical rooms, and other areas as per scope of work.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment such as buffing, stripping, and waxing would be a asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Robust attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Location:

- Various construction sites in Toronto,



the GTA and other cities as assigned (transportation is provided for cities outside the GTA)

Salary:

- Semi-Skilled Cleaner: Start $21.50/hour
- Biweekly Payroll, Paid via direct deposit.
- Group Medical and Dental Benefits after 3 months probationary period

Requirements: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Mandatory:

All workers must provide and wear CSA-approved PPE at all times, including:

- Safety boots Six-inch green patch, with lace (slip-on boots not permitted).
- Hard Hat with integrated chin strap Type II - Clase E
- Hi-vis vest (orange or yellow with reflective stripes).
- CSA-approved safety glasses.
- Work gloves appropriate to the hazards of the task.

Safety Training Records Mandatory:

- WHIMS
- Health and Safety 4 Steps
- Working at Heights (completed within the last 3 years)

Experience

- 1 to 2 years of Janitorial or construction cleaning experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

- Basic understanding of English
- Spanish speaking would be an asset
- Drivers license ( Class G) would be asset but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $21.50 per hour
