We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Pro North Repair Ltd. If you are a skilled professional with a strong background in maintaining and repairing over-the-road transportation trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and transportation equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services.
- Maintain and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, brake systems, suspensions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Complete inspections in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Ensure maintenance records and work orders are completed accurately.
- Respond to roadside or emergency maintenance needs as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

- Certified Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic or equivalent recognized trade certification.




- Minimum 5 years of experience working on heavy-duty transportation trucks and equipment.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and electronic diagnostics.
- Experience with over-the-road trucking fleets is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license; Class 1/AZ/CDL license considered an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
