Job Summary

We are seeking 8 highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across our operations.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical wiring.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical experience to troubleshoot automated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).




- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with welding, boiler maintenance, HVAC systems, and industrial electrician tasks as needed to support plant operations.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, welding techniques, boilers, and low voltage electrical work.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices combined with analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in quick-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated safety awareness and adherence to industry regulations related to heavy machinery maintenance.
