Corner's Pride Farms is a growing dairy operation with facilities in the Fraser Valley and Interior of British Columbia. We are looking for a dependable, motivated person who enjoys working with cattle and wants to develop their skills in dairy farming.
We provide hands-on training and development, with the opportunity to build a long-term career in herd management.
You'll work with our team caring for replacement heifers and developing the skills needed to manage cattle, monitor herd health, operate equipment, and maintain a high standard of animal care.
What You'll Do
As a Heifer Raising Herdsperson, you will be responsible for:
- Daily feeding, handling, weighing, sorting, and moving of cattle
- Monitor cattle health and provide treatments following company protocols
- Clean pens/barns and maintain bedding
- Maintain accurate cattle and facility records
- Assist with breeding heifers through AI
- Operate tractors, mixers, and other farm equipment
- Perform basic equipment and facility maintenance
- Assist with cropping and irrigation activities when required
- Work closely with management and the farm team
What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Calm and comfortable around cattle
- Observant and interested in animal health and welfare
- A good communicator and team player
- Organized and able to work independently
- Physically capable of performing the work
- Has a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning to operate farm equipment
- Previous dairy, cattle, AI, or farm machinery experience is an asset. Trailering experience will also be an asset — but we're willing to train the right candidate.

As you gain experience, there may be an opportunity to advance into a role at our heifer-raising facility in Merritt, BC, where you could take on greater responsibility as the operation continues to grow.
Relocation to Merritt is not required to start. It is a potential future chance for someone who wants to grow with the company.
