Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled 4th-year Plumber/Gasfitter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas fitting systems across various projects. Duties

- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and gas fitting systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems for proper operation and maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work setting throughout each project




- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components using basic math calculations for measurements

Requirements

- Currently enrolled as a 4th-year apprentice or equivalent in a recognized plumbing or gasfitting program
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with carpentry, construction sites, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
