List of Duties

HomeShare Providers are caring community members who open their homes and share their lives with adults with disabilities.

They offer a secure, welcoming, and supportive home environment for people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries, while encouraging independence, personal growth, and meaningful connection to community.

Providers develop respectful, trusting relationships with the individual, their family, and friends,



and offer steady support that helps promote comfort, security, and well-being.

When needed, they follow support plans related to behaviour, coping skills, autonomy, and enriching life opportunities, with guidance from consulting professionals.

HomeShare Providers offer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Providers may be individuals, couples, or families who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a positive difference while supporting the agency’s strategic goals.

Compensation: $1600-$4000 Monthly payment, based on current Community Living BC (CLBC) rates.

As a HomeShare Provider, you are contracted by Inclusion Powell River and receive tax-free compensation.
