Scope of Position

Responsible for supporting HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, perks, payroll, performance management, health and safety, compliance, and employee engagement, while maintaining accurate records and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related matters.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, orientations, training, and maintenance of employee records.
- Maintain and update confidential employee information in payroll system and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, terminations, and respond to employee inquiries.
- Support payroll administration by reviewing timesheets, attendance records, and employee data for accuracy.
- Assist with employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health and safety regulations, company policies, and mandatory training requirements.
- Coordinate health and safety initiatives, workplace inspections, incident investigations,



and Joint Health and Safety Committee activities.
- Manage performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and training programs.
- Administer employee access controls, safety equipment programs, and other workforce support services.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.
- Provide general administrative support, including records management and processing, correspondence, scheduling, meeting coordination, filing, and office administration duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee, payroll, and organizational information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll administration and payroll software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resouces or related.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Concord, ON L4K 2N2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
