Job Summary

King Luminaire Co. Inc. produces a comprehensive assortment of metal poles, pole arms and accessories, plus bollards and site amenities in our plant in Ontario.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Millwright (Red Seal certified) to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Stoney Creek facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment across the plant. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, and industrial maintenance will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and compliance.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Duties

- Coordinate daily workload, including directions and timelines for completion, and monitor daily tasks to ensure that work is completed on schedule, if applicable and overseeing other maintenance staff.
- Respond to daily breakdowns and other issues requiring maintenance and repair.
- Provide expertise and advice to generate solutions for mechanical and production issues.
- Fabricate/machine parts needed for repair or for new installations.
- Organize & oversee work performed by outside contractors.
- Ensure inspections required by provincial & federal regulation are current and completed on a timely basis.
- Establish and maintain a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, plant equipment, maintenance history, inventory levels,



and preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records of tool and material levels.
- Maintain and restock the maintenance department inventory, purchasing materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Other reasonable duties as prescribed by management.·

Qualifications

- At least five years of experience working in their trade within the manufacturing industry.
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright Red Seal is required.
- Industrial Electrician Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with CMMS software’s, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), is required.
- Relative safety training certification relative to the position.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and troubleshooting automation equipment.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
