CWB Welder / Commercial Iron Worker

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking CWB Welder / Commercial Iron Worker to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced tradesperson or an apprentice looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career in the welding and structural steel industry.

The successful candidate will take pride in quality workmanship, work safely as part of a team, and be comfortable working with structural steel and commercial iron work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld steel components.
- Perform commercial iron work and assist with steel erection and installation as required.
- Use welding equipment, cutting tools, grinders, and other shop tools safely.
- Inspect work to ensure it meets quality and project specifications.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work effectively with other welders, iron workers, apprentices, and project personnel.

Qualifications





- CWB certification is an asset; candidates with relevant welding experience are encouraged to apply.
- Commercial iron work or structural steel experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand drawings is preferred.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
- Commitment to safe work practices.

Pay: $26.05-$48.16 per hour
