As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an IT Technician to join our IT department.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented IT professional who can provide day-to-day technical support while also contributing to the development, integration, and implementation of IT systems and solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues, working with users and business applications, and taking ownership of IT projects from configuration and programming through testing and implementation. Experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to understand operational needs and translate them into practical technology solutions will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution of IT requests.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Support network infrastructure, servers, backups, system updates, and general IT maintenance.
- Provide technical support for SAP Business One, SQL, EDI, and other business applications.
- Develop, configure, test, and implement IT solutions, applications, and system enhancements based on business and operational needs.
- Support the implementation, integration, and deployment of new systems and technologies, including coordination with internal teams and external providers.
- Provide IT support for systems and equipment used in manufacturing operations, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, user access management,



and IT security best practices.
- Coordinate with external IT providers, consultants, and service partners when required.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, system configurations, and IT asset information.
- Participate in IT infrastructure improvements, technology projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

- College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar IT support, technician, or systems-related role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking.
- Knowledge of SQL and programming/development concepts.
- Experience with system implementation, integration, and deployment.
- Experience with SAP Business One is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of EDI, virtualization, cybersecurity, and backup systems is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to IT issues affecting manufacturing operations.
