Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure in industrial settings, supporting our mission to develop cutting-edge technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repairs
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and control panels
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)



to troubleshoot automation systems and improve process efficiency
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify issues early and prevent system failures
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications

Experience

- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or journeyperson electrician with a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance
- Solar experience is an asset
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, power tools, and construction environments
- Hands-on experience with Distribution systems
- Experience with wiring of control enclosure
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is an asset
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial settings.
