Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting functions. Responsibilities

- Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing customer invoices and entering vendor bills
- Reconciling bank, credit card, customer, and vendor accounts
- Following up on outstanding receivables
- Assisting with month end closing, journal entries, and financial reports




- Working with the operations team to verify shipment costs, carrier charges, and customer billing
- Organizing supporting documents and assisting with other accounting duties as required

Requirements

- Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software are preferred. Experience with CargoWise would be considered an asset.
